@Valentine: But Sony and Microsoft aren't super selective either. They have their movie-cash ins and the like. I think the problem here is that Wii's exclusive good games are few and far between and niche, which makes the Wii look like it's flooded with crap and nothing else. I'd say the DS and PS2 has just as much crap licensed on it but the sheer amount of good games makes up for that and hides the bad games too.

@Starlight: I bought my Wii 4 years ago, way before moving to Poland and I do not plan on buying another one. It's a waste of money. I do plan on modding it after the firmware updates stop to play PAL region games though.
