Re: GBA Discussion
I still hate FF III.
Unrelated sorta, but never rely on the AI in any video game. Sadly I have to in FE 7 on this one mission. FML

I can never do that....the A.I. usually isn't on my side. Although there are times where I have gotten extremely lucky with RGN and had a character survive that should have been hit and thus dead. I try not to risk it because 90% of the time, the numbers are against me.

I probably just suck.
Metroid Fusion is on GBA. Now that's an awesome game. My (co-)first Metroid (with Prime) and made me fall in love with the series. Glad Other M is getting back in on the story-telling aspect. :3

Is that a covert message for me?
I'm still trying to find Zero Mission....one of these days I'll come across it. I just know it.
@Ninty: and mother 3....I'm going to have to play those soon. Played a bit of Earthbound and it was fun, surprisingly difficult, and weird in a good way~
Re: GBA Discussion
You'll find Zero Mission Soar.
I have faith. =D
I can't wait for Other M either, Vapor :3

Re: GBA Discussion
To me GBA was all about the excellent Minnish Cap and 3 great Sonic games, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was the only FF game I played on GBA, it was a great game, the judge cards thing was a bit hit & miss, but overall very enjoyable, Wario Land 4 however was kind of a let down, good but not of the same quality as its prequels IMO.

Those rules got a lot of backlash, which I never understood. I always moved around until the laws weren't too bad or I had a anti-law card that I could negate it with. IMO it wasn't that hard to avoid really cripplingly laws like "cannot hurt race X". I love FFTA, played it obsessively twice. FFTA2 was kind of a let down. The basic gameplay is still just as awesome, but I thought the plot- the little that I have seen of it- wasn't as good as FFTA. I did like the spoils mechanic they implemented in A2 though. Still both are great SRPGs~
Re: GBA Discussion
I loved FFTA and its sequel.
I loved everything about 'em.
I'm playin' Fire Emblems right now on Hard mode. ... No fun D:

Playing Breath of Fire and Golden Sun: The Lost Age.
I hope to complete Lost Age before Dark Dawn is out. Preferably this month...but I don't know if I can do that. xD

Re: GBA Discussion
Sold my copies of Fire Emblem:SS and Chain of Memories recently. Plan to sell FFTA and possibly Advance Wars.
Currently playing Breath of Fire. Like it a lot, maybe this time I'll actually beat it!

Re: GBA Discussion
TLG got me into playing Leaf Green again. I think this is my 4th or 5th playthrough of the game. It fun experimenting with different party members.
Re: GBA Discussion
Too late, I sold them.
Next I'm selling: Metroid Fusion and Hunters (because DS shoulder buttons wont work and I can never finish them anyway)
along with FFCC (GCN) and Baten Kaitos.

So, you're not a collector? I am. I love to collect games (and manga). Of course I don't buy just for the sake of collecting. I only buy the games and manga I think I will like and I won't hesitate to drop a series that didn't meet my expectations. (I guess I would sell manga and games I don't like. Actually I am planing on selling a few volumes I have of a few series that I didn't find interesting/good enough to read and collect further.)
Re: GBA Discussion
I'm a collector too.
Then again I also said that about Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, and look how that's turning out for me
xD

a bit offtopic, but I used to collect Pokemon cards. Still have a binder full of them and look at them from time to time. I would love to continue....but between games and manga...I just don't have the $$$.
Re: GBA Discussion
I used to collect all of those.
I don't hang onto all my games because
A) whats the point if I dont like them/could never beat them?
B) dont have the space
C) allows me to buy new games

That one makes sense. I feel the same way about certain games, and I don't hang on to those. (For example all of my Guitar Hero& Rock Band stuff I'm selling) Most of the games I hang on to are games that I really like, or really hard games that I like but can't beat XD

Re: GBA Discussion
Yeah, I understand [A]. For games, there hasn't really been one that I have despised so much that I sold it, but for manga there has. I can also understand [B] to a certain degree because I'm also really tight on space....
Re: GBA Discussion
Ooh Soar! :3
I'm probably going to start Golden Sun soon! I'm carrying the two games around with me more and they're calling out to meeeee
