I really love the GameCube. It's my 2nd favorite gaming system ever. Okay, it may not be as succesful as the other Nintendo consoles, but heck, it's so small that you can bring it with you to a lot of places.

The main reason I bought a GameCube was Wind Waker. That game is so epic and the cel-shaded style has a lot of charm. But my favorite game on it is without a doubt...*drum rolls*Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem.

So what do you people think about the Cube?

I love my Cube. I have more games for it than almost any other system. I got it the Christmas after its launch, along with Luigi's Mansion. Smile

Been meaning to track down Eternal Darkness and give it a go. I'll be starting Pokemion Colloseum shortly though.

To be honest, the Nintendo Gamecube was my least favorite Nintendo system. Now it did have some gems in in, like Super Smash Bros. Melee, but the console suffered from weak third-party support, lack of online, 1st party games that were a step down from the Nintendo 64, and well, it didn't really capture me.

It's okay, but it's really overrated by the fans of the series.

In my opinion, it was a step-up from the N64 in every way you listed. I mean, without Nintendo or Rare, the n64 had very few great games on it. Not that I don't love the 64 as well, just illustrating.

Gamecube is cool. Metroid Prime, Tales of Symphonia, F-Zero GX. Yes.

Two words...and a number.

RESIDENT EVIL 4.

GC version will always be the superior version because real men play with the GC cont. scheme.

My 2nd fave Nintendo home console just behind the SNES.

I also liked:
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2 Echoes
Wind Waker
Viewtiful Joe
Pikmin 1 & 2
Killer 7
Resident Evil REmake

Oh yeah, I forgot.

I still prefer Melee over Brawl.

Didn't have that many good RPGs but it has Paper Mario: TTYD and Tales of Symphonia.

Of course I'm kidding!

Definitely the best Ninty console I've owned (and only the second one next to Game Boy).

I just used it for Smash Bros, X-Men Dimensions (underrated fighting game), Viewtiful Joe and Wind Waker!

To Ninty, I got WInd Waker as a bundle! Very Happy
