Saturn (LOL) Discussion

I wish I owned one...but why would I when the EU variants were inferior?

Even if you played ports from the Saturn, discuss it as most of their games aren't ported (Unlike the Dreamcast).

Saturns these days are goldmines though...especially the Region Free/Japanese versions.

I personally feel sorry for it....it could make great 2D games shine but wasn't as good at 3D output....still...they have their hits such as NiGHTs, Burning Rangers and Panzer Dragoon/Zwei/Saga.

So yeah...discuss....if you can tell us stories of you own/ed one.

And yes Ninty, the SMT series were apparently great on the Saturn.

There are region free Saturns? Awesome.

I never had one, but I always wanted to play on a Saturn, at least for once. For the sake of Segata Sanshiro.

I've considering buying on several occasions at some point but I've never gotten round to it. Mainly because of NiGHTS and Panzer Dragoon but also Guardian Heroes (Although that's now coming to the PSN so I'd just get that)

NiGHTS is on the PS2 I think but it's JPN only.

I would have but having too many consoles as it is I'd rather not.
