Ok, that's good to hear.

I plan on picking up Shadow of the Collosus sometime this year.

I saw one of my friends play Shadow of Colossus a long time ago, and the game looked amazing. I don't think its for me though :/

Of course, that's just my opinion :3

Finally got back to Suikoden IV for the RPGFEST. I'm hoping to finally beat one PS2 game with it!

The graphics on FFXII are pretty for a PS2 game. Not just the CGI but the in-game visuals are actually pretty nice.

Are you giving it another chance? I know the battle system is unusual, but I recall the story being at least somewhat interesting and of course, like you mentioned, the environments are pretty.

I still have to beat Breath of Fire V and Star Ocean Till the End of Time. I just have so much that I need to beat that I haven't had much time for the PS2. D:

Is it like Muramasa: The Demon Blade? I hear it's good but not as good as that game.

Final Fantasy X still holds up on the PS2 to this day as well.

My PS2 library mainly consists of Megami Tensei games.

I play most of my ps2 games on my ps3 (aka i like the ps3 HD remasters or whatever you wanna call them)

I had another look at it and it seems that it wasn't so much the same team but the same writer for both titles, as well as Konami publishing both. Still, I loved the story in Time Hollow so I'm no less deterred.

Then again, it is probably cheap. Can anyone recommend some ps2 games for me? Besides Kingdom Hearts? I don't like that series

yeah, wait for the collection unless you're not gonna ever have access to a ps3.

as for other ps2 recommendations, MGS 2/3, Persona 3/4, FFX, God of War I and II.

Yeah I doubt I'll have access to a PS3 anytime soon. Although when Tales of Graces F comes out, I'll try to get my hands on one

I was going to pick of SotC myself until I heard about the HD remastering and decided to get that version instead because it will come with ICO too~

I still need to get the Personas, ugh. ONE OF THESE DAYS!! (I'm a bit angry at myself for passing up the Amazon sale that happened a few months ago because the PS2 Persona games were some of the few games Amazon(dot)com actually ships here. The shipping was pretty expensive, around 15$, so it deterred me in the end. Now I regret it. D: )

Whaat?! I order from amazon(dot)CA. The shipping should only cost more if the item you ordered is shipping from outside Canada or overseas (in your case). Is there actually a difference between (dot)com and (dot)ca? You can use the search filter and arrange it from closest shipping distance or cheapest price.

I swear to god I wasn't trippin' balls here when I was browsing amazon but Persona 3 FES is currently discounted to $25 (usually $40) brand-new last time I checked a few days ago and Persona 4 was discounted to $35. Also brand-new. (usually $50).

This is the lowest price I've seen FES in brand-new factory sealed condition from amazon. No better time to get it. It's also shipping from Quebec which is closer to Ontario than Alberta.

Oh those are from third parties. They tend to change frequently. When I was looking a couple of months ago, FES was not in stock and P4 was going for 50$. Too bad I can't order it any longer because I'm leaving in 4 days. I'll probably end up importing them at a premium. Ah, well, they shall be worth it.

I paid £20 (incl.OST) for Persona 4?!?

Frankly, SMT is much-much cheaper on Amazon.co.uk. I'm only talking about those which got released in Europe and minus Devil Summoner, because that is a pretty rare game.
