I gave up and traded my LV100 GROUDON over to SS so that I could just get Red out of the way. He was suprisingly easy that way. lol

Now I have added a Grovyle (Scepty) and a Wartortle (Blasty) to my team. I think seriously that Wartortle is my favorite Pogeyman to have behind me. He's so cute and blue~

Also, I caught my own Groudon (Donny) at the Embedded Tower. Now I feel all awesome. :3

So true. But...I absolutely love my Wartortle. Grovyle...not so much yet, but it's coming. But my super-coool Wartortle...I think...it's a special Wartortle, like...in the top percentage of Wartortle the world over.

I'm training my Wartortle and Grovyle and I'm going to work on my Pokedex. That's about the extent of it now. :3

Well I got the last 2 badges (up to 16) and I beat the Elite Four Mach II. I'm considering a Red attempt later today, although I'mnot sure if I'll have time...or the guts. ^.^

I now own the game. Bought it earlier with some 360 games so I'll play it later when I can get hold of my DS

when i get to red, i'm predicting my party consisting of:
lvl ~94 Feraligatr
and trash

Beat Red on first try. Believe I used 3-5 healing items (one of which was cuz I got frozen, lol.)
My party was 75-89.
I OHKO'd Pikachu and Venusaur
Snorlax was trouble until I realized his S.Def was high but his Def wasn't.
Blastoise and Lapras were the most difficult for me.

I'm trying to catch a level 70 Lugia

I've started making some progress on HeartGold. So far I've only beaten the first gym leader as I spent awhile grinding 4 of my Pokemon to level 10. I just went through the Ruins as well so I'm on the way to Azalea Town.

Playing Pearl now and I'm having trouble deciding which pokemon will be my 6th party member. Lucario or Garchomp?

Well I finally caught a Misdreavus and now I'm training/leveling it up to my party's standards (lv.29) before I head over to the 7th gym.

I'm currently in Olivine City now, been playing all day. I've been grinding a bit and trying to keep all my pokemon to roughly the same level (With the odd exception or two), want to make sure I have a good team on me. What I have now are

Quilava - Level 26
Flaaffy - Level 26
Noctowl - Level 26
Onix - Level 26
Raticate - Level 24
Wooper - Level 17

And also, what's this about Latias in the games? There seem to be just so many legendaries in the game

EDIT: Just had a look on Serebii. Jeez, they really stacked these games with legendaries

I'd use Garchomp. I don't know the other party members in your team, but Garchomp is extremely powerful and a great ground type. I'm using one in HeartGold right now and it's pretty amazing.

Be sure to teach it outrage from a move tutor if you do decide to use it- With its high attack, Outrage can OHKO loser pokemon.

Those levels look pretty good for where you are in game. What is your 'final' team, like the elite four/kanto team?

I've beaten the Olivine Gym now. Had some trouble at first but then I added Fire Blast to Quilava through a TM and it was easy enough. With the Wooper exception, I've gotten all of the Pokemon up to level 30 now so I'm heading for Mahogany Town.

Thanks. I haven't really thought about what team I'll use for those. I'll wait until I get to that stage before doing anything. Right now, I think I'd stick with my current team, bar Wooper and maybe one other.

party consisted of lvl 94 feraligater (that's all that was used)...
and misc. trash pokemon (ranging from highest lvl 50 snorlax to lowest lvl 10 spearow)

@donth8 TBCH with you, i'm gonna have to say definitely use lucario, garchomp is currently listed as an uber... (and has been for a while now )
