Last films:
A Beautiful Mind (interesting movie but ti just didn't resonate with me)
From Dusk Till Dawn (first half is well-done, vampire part is fairly lame)
Army of Darkness (Great campy movie)

P.S. I changed the censor to allow that word. But let's use it sparingly. Razz

I had forgotten I recently saw Avatar on DVD.

Thoughts: a mash of cliches and fairly predictable, yet it does a great job exploring the world and making it feel concrete and real. Verdict: might have been better as a video game, but a good movie nonetheless.

Trust me, it is not better as a video game. I have it from the bundle my PS3 came with (Alongside MW2 & Bonnie & Clyde) and it sucks, particularly the camera

Well, I was speaking more metaphorically, as I'm aware it's a game. But I meant the concept of Avatar with a good developer. (Since it's pretty, I could see Squeenix doing it.) Not licensed crap/mediocreness.

Ah, I see what you mean. Yeah, would've been much better in the hands of Squeenix and not Ubisoft, one of the kings of licensed crap.

Watched the new Alice In Wonderland over the weekend. TBH, it was better than I expected but then, Tim Burton is one of my favourite Directors. Wasn't too sure about the ending though.

Just happened to rewatch that myself. As I thought, the 3D didn't really add anything and I didn't miss it on the DVD version.

Couple weeks ago, I saw...*drum roll*

The first 15 minutes of Twilight Eclipse with a friend just for sh*ts and giggles.

Got kicked out of the theatre for laughing too much. Laughing

lol my gf and I saw that in its first or second week. We were in the back row and there was only like 10 people max so our whispering and laughing didnt matter.

My gf is the awesome type that likes Twilight and asks me to come, but doesnt force me, and if I do, she not only lets me make fun of it, but joins in.

We were coming up with a Twilight series drinking game. (Whenever the word "vampire or the "vatican" or w/e the vampire organization is mentioned, whenever Belle is a floozy, whenever Ed/Jake are jerks to her, whenever someone is randomly shirtless, whenever sex is implied, lol)

I really want to see Inception.

I'll wait until a DVD release though. I don't like movie theaters Neutral

Might go and see the new Cats and Dogs with my nephew.

I remember seeing the first one when I was little.

I can't imagine that being good, but I hope you two enjoy it.

Seriously, the commercial uses The Hamster Dance as if that song is still funny/enjoyable.

lol i have both of those. Seven is good stuff, great ending.

Audition...thats a tough one to watch, lol. Youre kinda evil to make them watch that. I thought it was more disturbing than all the Saws together.

My opinion of Saw 1-3 (thats all I've seen)
#1-is REALLAY GOOD. definately worth watching
#2-is kinda meh
#3-is pretty good but overly gore-y (like they were trying too hard)

At least see the original and see if the story hooks ya enough to watch others.
