Vita pushed backed to 2012

I sort of expected this when the 3DS price drop was announced. There's no way I see the Vita as valuing at 250 usd (at best price) now that Nintendo has decided their 3DS doesn't value at 250.

As for the rest of the article, thoughts?

Do you think Sony is going to implement a price drop as well? Can they even afford that? I've heard reports that Vita at 250 was already going to be selling at a loss.

The push back is welcome from me as I still want a few more PSP games to come out and I'm still debating whether I want a Vita. Price drop would definitely help me along but I'm sort of worried it's going to become a portable PS3 (in the sense that both systems get the same games a la Dragon's Crown), which would really dissuade me from picking one up. I love portable gaming but I just can't put down money for something I technically already have. It's such a waste.
