I didnt pre-order it nor do I plan to buy it right away but I prolly will get it down the road. I like shooters but I don't like them $60 like them.

I still don't believe that Duke Nukem Forever is almost out. It feels so...unreal. I guess I'll wait until it gets cheaper.

I know what you mean Ninten and it's only 4 more days left as well before it gets released here. Cannot wait for Friday right now. I could always post pictures on here to prove to you it's real lol

Tell us what you think of the game after playing it, Terra. As for me, I tried the demo on PC and it felt...a little empty after 14 years.

I think the anticipation behind it might be a factor in that. It's not so much a question of whether the game is good but whether it'll have been worth the 14 years, there's a lot of weight behind it and there's bound to be some disappointment from some people.

I'll give it a shot later on and put my impressions down here.

Reviews have been mediocre to bad so far. I hope it's the hype disappointing more than the real quality.

Funny thing is that DNF has elements that resemble these modern shooters. For starters, you can only hold TWO weapons. I don't know how are you guys with it, but I want to carry all kinds of crazy weapons in my back pocket.

And the EGO meter is sorta like an health-regen stuff, just like in CoD.

Do yourself a favor and don't play DNF on consoles. From what I've heard it's actually better on PCs; the loading times are faster, aiming is better and the framerate issues are not as bad as on consoles.

Holy moly, DNF just got served by many gaming sites. 3.0 out of 10? 3.5 out of 10? Come on, it's not that bad.

But I may look into this to see what has happened in the 14 years in development...from me getting my Playstation to now talking on the internet.

Pretty much, but it's far more enjoyable than Sonic 06.
