Reviews FAQ/Requests

Question #1- Who can write reviews?
Answer: Anyone can. All we ask is that you put some effort into and be as detailed and precise as possible. There's no such thing as a wrong opinion, but there is such a thing as a poorly presented one. Give us the "why" and the "what" is whatever you feel.

Question #2- How can I request a review for...?
Answer: Post in here and if anyone is willing, they'll see it and acknowledge here. In regards to myself, I will only take requests from games listed on my BL.

Question #3- What grading scale should I use?
Answer: Totally up to you, so long as its not something ridiculous like "an elephant out of a snozzle" or something.

Question #4- Does it have to be a video game review?
Answer: Nope, but that's probably what the majority will be.

I think it would be easier if we listed the games we are going to review here so we wouldn't review the same game.

EDIT: I might get started on writing a review for Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition. If I finish, I'll post it during the weekend when I have time.

I guess I can take request as well as long as it's a game I've beaten.

When I feel like typing a 5 paragraph essay on Fire Emblem Fuuin no Tsurugi or Starcraft II, I'll let ya know. :3

Just make sure you all read the FAQs on the first post.

I was planning on reviewing Dead Space on Halloween but I can write it sooner, no prob.

Hey admin, I have a question:

I've got a few reviews done on my personal blog. Is is ok if I make a thread called, "soaring_wing's reviews" and post links to the reviews, or would you rather I copy and paste and create a thread for each review? (I've only got 2-ish ready, and 3-4 more that need a bit of touch up because I changed my rating system).

I don't have a preference. If you want to post them as seperate threads/reviews thats fine if you actually include the review and not alink. If you prefer one thread with links, thats fine too.

Halloween is just more than a month away. I'll be playing through Dead Space this weekend maybe and I'll get started on the review.

I have a 360 now and have finally got some good time intyo it. So which titles should I review (forst)? Feel free tyo list other 360 games, and I'll see what I can do.

If anyone is interested and I am allowed, I'll be willing to write a little preview for Pokemon white/black jp, since I really loved that game; made it to the second "gym" on the emu, before delating the ROM (keep the save file though ), and I can tell you the game is gonna be great.

TC, as a preview, I'd say stick it in the Pokemon Black and White thread that already exists over in Gaming. Look forward to it.
