Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
So, who is excited for this? I sure am!
November 29th can't come soon enough!
So this is a thread to share thoughts and feelings on the up coming game as well as vent frustrations that it isn't out yet! xD
So, I've seen some screens with Mathew-look-a-like and I have heard rumours it's an adult Issac. Does anyone have any confirmation on this?

Re: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
Is this a remake or sequel? I have the Golden Sun games on the GBA, but they're actually my fiance's. I've considered playing them once I beat my own collection.

Re: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
Sequel. Set a few years after the two part GBA games.
It shouldn't be hard to play without playing the first two games, but if you can get your hands on them, I recommend playing because they are great games and you'll probably enjoy Dark Dawn more (since the protagonists of DD are the sons and daughters of the heroes from the GBA games).

Yes, my fiance has the GBA games. I have added them to my BL, but they're nulled until I feel like playing them since they aren't truly my own games. I might just play Dark Dawn and treat the first two as a prequel.
Otherwise, I understand this was somewhat of a long-awaited sequel to the series.

I don't think Dark Dawn will be as good as the original ones.

Don't be a pessimist. When has Camelot let us down? All their Shinning Force games (1-3) were great, and I've heard their sports games are fun as well, plus GS as well. =3
Re: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
Personally, I think it's shaping up to be a great game but all I can really do is speculate at this time. I'll share my real opinion when I get around to playing it.

Re: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
@Donth8: yeah that is true. I'm just more optimistic because Camelot has yet to let me down. And from what I've seen, everything I want is there: psyenergy puzzles, djinn+summons, old characters, nice graphics (obviously not as revolutionary as the first Golden Sun, but still nice), continued story from GS1&2. You're right that I'm going to have to wait till I see it all executed. But, I can't help but already be pleased since all the elements I want are present.
Where is Vapor? I want to fan girl with someone. xD

To quote GLADOS, "Its been a looooong time." Can't wait.
I've beaten GS twice and TLA once. TLA was WAY too long, lol.

Eh, I would buy this but I would want to play the GBA games first. Can't exactly find those and I want the full experience, so I probably won't end up buying this unless there's a 3DS VC or something. It does seem like a really good series though, would be a shame to skip it altogether. xD

There are other ways to play it if you get what I mean.
But seriously, for out of print rare games, I don't think it's wrong to use an emulator.
Re: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
I played an emulator for GS so I could play it at school and it was awesome cuz I held down spacebar the whoel time and it played at like x4 or something and made exploration a lot less tedious.
Re: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
I might just cave in and do that then, Soaring Wings. xD It's not like they're even selling it new anymore, I'd just be buying a used copy which gives them no money anyway. Plus I'd be buying the sequel right? :3
