Super Smash Bros.
You know I'm a fan of the series, so no surprise a thread like this would be made.
This is a thread dedicated to the Super Smash Bros. series. Anything related can go here.
I absolutely LOVE the series with a passion. I know a lot regarding the series. All three games are great.

Surprisingly...
...I haven't played one yet. I did try an in-store demo of Brawl and I couldn't even get my character to move.
I think the reason is that I just really suck at fighters, so I tend not to play them. ^^;;;

3..2..1..GO!
All 3 games are great indeed but Melee is my favorite.
More fast-paced than the other 2.
Who are you main characters in each game?

I still think that Melee is the best one, yet. It also has Roy, who is my main in Melee.

Do you guys use advanced techniques like wavedashing etc?
Do you guys participate in tournaments? or atleast watch them?

Re: Super Smash Bros.
1) I have no idea how to pull off those advanced techniques.
2) Rarely they have Brawl tournaments at AnimeCons.

Re: Super Smash Bros.
They're hard to pull off but all one really needs is practice. I can still do them but ever since I stopped posting at the Smash World Forums, I lost track of strategies are in and out.
I watch tournaments on Youtube, both Melee and Brawl.

Not really. I'm a huge fan of the series, but not to the point of being compeatitive.

No I do not particapate or watch tournaments. I did try to get into one Wi-Fi Newbie tournament in Smash World Forums, but to no avail. Prehaps I'll try again.

Re: Super Smash Bros.
I don't play online with Brawl at all because the online is a disaster. There's button delay and it takes forever to join a match.
Re: Super Smash Bros.
Never played the first one but I own the other two and love them. I was actually playing Melee earlier with a friend in some Versus matches and had a Sandbag Throwing competition. Good times

This. Along with extreme lag, bare-bone options, absolutely no communications, etc. I barely play the game anymore because because of this.
